We provide information and advice on a wide range of community projects and rural services, including rural transport, village halls and retaining village shops to name but a few. We also seek to influence policies at local and regional levels to improve the quality and level of services to people in rural areas.

Community Action, one of thirty eight Rural Community Councils nationally, is an independent charity, funded by The Rural Development Agency, Government Office of the South West and the three unitary authorities of Bath & North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
